English Teacher (QTS)
Location: South Gloucestershire
Salary: £150 - £300 per day, depending on the role | Weekly PAYE pay
Start Date: September 2026

Connex Education is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated English Teachers to join secondary schools across South Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas from September 2026. From Shakespeare to spoken language, you'll play a key role in helping students develop confidence in reading, writing, and communication while making a lasting impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.
Inspire a love of reading, writing, and language through creative and interactive teaching.
Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback to support student progress and achievement.
Support students in developing literacy skills, confidence, and critical thinking.

Person Specification
QTS preferred, although strong secondary English teaching experience will also be considered.
Passion for English and inspiring young people to achieve their potential.
